On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, the Director of Rawanduz Technical Institute, Zakho Branch, Mr. Omed Sagvan, along with an accompanying delegation, paid an official visit to the University of Zakho.

The purpose of the visit was to convey respect and appreciation to the Presidency of the University. The delegation was formally received by the esteemed President of the University, Prof. Dr. Diyar Abdulkarim Saeed.

During the meeting, discussions were held on several topics related to the process of higher education between the Institute and the University. The main focus was on enhancing cooperation between both institutions, particularly in the areas of research and joint scientific benefits, which could result in fruitful outcomes from this collaboration.
